An easy flight from the ole’ USA. Big city living. World class parks. Fun-filled neighborhoods. Easy flights all around Mexico. Oh, and some of the best coffee shops for getting some work done in the Americas. Mexico City has a lot to offer the average nomad, expat, and remote workers. The wifi is fantastic all around this mega-city, but I tend to spend my time in the three best neighborhoods in all of CDMX…
- Condesa
- Roma Norte
- Polanco
In these three hip hotspots, you’ll find people from all around the world, along with cuisine and coffee from every place you could imagine. No matter if you spent a little too much time enjoying Mexico City nightlife or if you just need to hunker down for some work one day, these cafes offer the coffee you need to succeed.

4 Cups of Coffee in Mexico City
Which brings me to the whole punto of this guide… where to find the best coffee in my favorite neighborhoods in all of Mexico City.

After a handful of trips to Mexico City, I’ve worked from dozens of Airbnb rentals, coffee shops, and coworking spaces. Personally, I’ve found the coffee shops in CDMX to be some of the finest in the Americas. So here’s a few of my favorites in Condesa and Roma Norte.
Blend Station
With a location in Condesa and another in Roma Norte, there’s no denying Blend Station is a digital nomad hotspot in Mexico City Both times I went here the place was absolutely packed! Which makes sense, because the workspaces are amazing and the coffee is delicious. There’s also solid food for those trying to work all day long in the same spot. Just make sure you get here early, or you won’t get a place to set up shop. Blend Station might be the most popular Condesa cafe as of now.
- Wifi? Fast.
- Condesa Address: C.P, Avenida Tamaulipas 60 , Col. Condesa, Hipódromo, 13210 Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Roma Norte Address: Puebla 237, Roma Nte., Cuauhtémoc, 01180 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico
El Péndulo
Another ideal spot to get some work done and enjoy an incredible cup of coffee in Condesa is El Péndulo. A coffee shop located in a bookstore, El Péndulo also has solid wifi and great food, making this location an ideal spot to base up for a whole day. You’ll find comfortable seating both upstairs and down, along with a safe environment. Highly recommended. You’ll also find dozens of other nomads working from here.
- Wifi? Solid.
- Address: Av Nuevo León 115, Colonia Condesa, Cuauhtémoc, 06140 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico
Rococó Café
Location, location, location. Rococó Café features one of the best locations in all of Mexico City, as this wonderful cafe is located across the street from Parque Espana. The seating here is beyond comfortable and the expressos are wonderful. I wasn’t super fond of the food here, but there’s no denying some fast wifi and a nice fruit plate while staring out at the park is a nice perk. The vibe here is laid back and hipster. Highly recommended if you’re staying near to Parque Espana.
- Wifi? Strong.
- Address: Juan de la Barrera 4, Colonia Condesa, Cuauhtémoc, 06140 Cuahutemoc, CDMX, Mexico
WeWork Roma Norte
Ok, ok. The WeWork in Roma Norte is not technically a coffee shop. You have to pay a hefty daily/monthly fee to use the space. That being said… This is the best place to get a massive work day done in all of Mexico. Well, at least in my humble opinion. WeWork Roma Norte is a digital nomad’s dream. Located next to El Angel de la Independencia, this location features fresh coffee and amazing terrace with stunning views. The wifi is lighting fast and you’ll find everything you need to work all day and night in the building.
- Wifi? Blazing.
- Address: Varsovia 36, Juárez, Cuauhtémoc, 06600 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico

That’s about everything you’d need to know about strolling into Mexico City and find amazing cafes and co-working spaces to get some work done. The above four locations offer insanely good coffee, great wifi, and prime CDMX locations.
